Berlin Calling was an official selection at the Hartford Jewish Film Festival on March 19, 2015. Sponsored by CT Voices of Hope, the screening sold out 260 seats and was followed by Q&A with director Nigel Dick.
“’Berlin Calling’ is like no Shoah film you have ever seen.” — Harriet Dobin, Director of the Hartford Jewish Film Festival
“It’s hard to express the profound sense of meaning “Berlin Calling” gives to each and every survivor and their families.” –Lisa Fishman, CT Voices Of Hope
Prior to the screening, Nigel also spoke with teens at Avon High School and was presented with a warm pair of flannel PJS with the Avon school logo by social studies teacher Stu Abrams, as it was quite a bit more chilly on the East Coast than what Nigel was used to in Los Angeles!
